The framework for analysis that we should use is Socioeconomic political approach. It asks the questions of, who defines a problem as such? Why should a social problem be of concern to us as individuals? What are the root causes of social problems? This framework model also explores the historical, political, and socioeconomic roots that contribute to child labor. By examining the interconnectedness of historical, political, and socioeconomic factors, we can see that social problems derive because of a multiple interlaced issues, practices, and structures that work together. Take into consideration the role of the structures of society (political, social, and economic factors). Below are just some questions that can be explored with the model:
What are the historical roots of child labour?
How exactly did the social problem begin?
What factors merge to create the problem?
From whose perspective is the story told? How does that affect the kind of story that gets told?
How would the story be different if it were told from another perspective?
          What other perspective are available?
Whose voices are heard? Whose are not heard?
          What is left out?
Who are the major players? What role do they play and what is the impact?
          Who was affected?
Is the problem connected or linked to other problems and issues?
