Social Policy: Then and Now
Berger (2014) states, “A substantial part of this struggle [to develop policies] is based on the ambivalent feelings of much of the population, as depicted in the Wasserman cartoon” (p. 274). After completing the reading, locate one additional scholarly source that either supports or conflicts with this statement in regards to human service policy. How and why is society considered ambivalent; what is the basis? Do you feel that the media has influence on this? Explain.
